My wife is currently on 33rd week of pregnancy and is not expected to give birth until January next year. However, complication on her pregnancy this time might push forward the delivery date and the baby might born sooner rather than later. Doctors have identified the problem, which is in medical term known as Placenta Previa – a condition where the placenta lies low in the uterus and partially or completely covers the cervix. The placenta may separate from the uterine wall as the cervix begins to dilate (open) during labor. I have spent the last several weeks reading on this topic and I would like to share it with my readers. Hopefully, it can be a useful infromation for everyone.
