The Moving Wall SLAMS it Again…

“… It ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!”. Remember those words? It’s from Rocky Balboa movie (2006), when Rocky told his son how winning is done. For 3 days, I saw the spirit of Rocky embodied in one man at Melbourne Park, Australia. A man from Malorca, Spain – Rafael Nadal.

When it comes to tennis, I always feel that Roger Federer is the best player ever. The Numero Uno, the number one, the greatest player the sport has ever seen. But, even at his best, this tennis great has time and time again found it difficult to beat Nadal and at Melbourne, Federer was left with tears as The Moving Wall (Nadal as described by Vijay Amritraj) proved to be difficult to crack again. It was amazing considering that Nadal was involved in another 5 hours classic battle against Fernando Verdasco two days earlier.

Happy CNY + Fever

I hope it is not too late to wish Happy Chinese New Year to all my Chinese friends out there. I have been down with fever and cough since last week and only felt slightly improved yesterday. I thought it was better for me to warm up a bit by redesigning my blog using a new blog theme that I downloaded from Woo’s blog. I love themes from Woo’s blog but most are premium themes which can be purchased at around $70 to $200. There are several FREE themes like the one that I downloaded. The next thing to do is to add some creativity to make the blog look nicer.

I spend most of my time during the holiday period in front of TV watching Australian Open and EPL. I also like watching American Idol and movies on HBO Channel. With my body feeling very week, watching TV is obviously my main activity during CNY holiday. I’m looking forward to the Australian Open final this coming weekend. My money is on Roger Federer winning the men single title. The Fed-Ex seems to be back at his best and that’s bad news for the others.
