Simple WordPress Theme | MeadowLand Theme

When I’m searching for new Wordress themes, I always look for themes that are simple yet elegant. I hate themes with too many colours, fancy fonts and too many graphics that slow down my blog. That’s why I l always start my search by keying-in “Simple WordPress Theme” as the keyword will filter all those unwanted themes before selecting the one that I should use. I think one of the reasons why I prefer simple wordpress theme is because as a blog owner I always hope that my visitors will read my blog after all the hard work preparing the article. I believe it will be easier for them to read if the blog load up quickly and fonts are easy to read. Choosing the right colour combination will also be a big factor encouraging visitors to read the articles and for me white background with black fonts is a MUST for every blog.

Recently I downloaded MeadowLand Theme created by WpCosmos for my BM blog. Click Here to see it. It’s a simple wordpress theme with smooth colour combination – Love it. I changed the header as I don’t like the flowers heading. You can change it too by replacing header.jpg file in the images folder. MeadowLand is a two column fixed width theme with right hand sidebar that was enabled for widgets. It uses Verdana (my favourite font) as the default font. With only few colour used for this theme it certainly looks not only simple but elegant as well. You can modify the .css file to suit your preference.

I got this lovely message from my sister this morning: “Salam, my name is Sya’ban. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims believe that the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammad during this month, and due to its sanctity, it is considered an appropriate month to fast. Ramadan is a time when all Muslims are called upon to exercise self restraint and devote much time to the worship of Allah (God). For this, Muslims all over the world fast from dawn to dusk, during which time they must abstain from consumption of food and drink, bad behaviour, bad language and spend their time exploring their religious teachings and meditate.
