My Boy Says HIGH FIVE Dad!
According to doctor’s calculation my baby is expected to be delivered on 22 nd January 2009. However, due to some complications (Read Here), he will make his first appearance in this world earlier than the doctor had predicted. Having gone through several medical check-ups, my wife was set for caesarean on 9th January 2009. But the baby had other ideas!
My wife told me she had bleedings this morning. Therefore, she had to undergo the operation today as delays will harm both the baby and the mother, unless of course if the bleeding stop. The doctor then decided to do it at FIVE pm this FIFTH of January 2009 and I’m was so nervous to know that my FIFTH child will be born today.
It’s been FIVE years since the last time my wife delivered a baby. She’s now thirty FIVE and so am I. I bring along all my children to the hospital and the FIVE of us waited patiently as nurses sent my wife to the FIFTH floor for operation. At FIVE FIFTY this afternoon, the baby entered into this world looking very healthy and relaxes. He cried a bit when I hold him as he tries to rise his hand as though he’s asking for a HIGH FIVE from his dad.
UPDATED 8.1.2009:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me. I’ve got nothing much to write and still busy with my baby, so no new posting for now. My wife has been discharged form the hospital yesterday, so we can celebrate this old man’s birthday together with our new born. Cheese cake & pizzas will be great!
UPDATED 9.1.2009 – Few of you asked me the name of the boy. Actually, I have several names in my mind, so I decided not mentioned it here until it becomes official. This morning, I went to NRD and register the boy as ISRAQ. It’s an Arabic word and in English it means Journey or Kembara/Perjalanan in B.M. Those who read the story of Israq & Mikraj will surely know the true meaning of this word.
