Making The Most From Currency Exchange

If you want to sell or purchase goods or services online, I advise you to pay some attention to the currency rates before deciding on which paymet method to use. This will help you save some $ ….

There are many payment methods available online i.e credit cards (via Paypal or Google Check Out or Alert Pay, etc), Online Bank Transfer, e-gold and many more. Choosing your payment method correctly will definitely save you some $ especially through the currency exchange.

Let me illustrate you with the example below:

Recently I renewed my domain name registration with a local company in Malaysia. There are two methods of payment available i.e via online bank transfer and credit card (Paypal). For dot com domain the company charged me RM 35. Payment using bank transfer using local bank will be flat rate @ RM 35. No more, no less. So, I checked the other option available, i.e through Paypal (credit card/debit card). The company listed their rate at the website at RM 3 = USD 1, which means I have to pay about USD 12 (RM 36). I went to paypal and checked their rate and found that their rate is slightly lower. After doing some simple maths, I calculated that USD 12 is equivalent to about RM 29. So, which is the better option? Paypal or Online bank transfer?

I hope this information is useful for anyone wishing to sell or make a purchase online. Check out yourself. Have a great day!

Terima kasih.

I have a preference for utilizing robotic systems myself, but I can definitely see the points you’re mentioning above. You have more background and better insights than the majority of the self-appointed gurus who are preaching about trading on the net. Thanks for the useful article.
